What Is Truth Over Trend?
Truth Over Trend is more than the name of my business, it’s a mindset I work to live by. It’s the driving force behind my mission and values as a coach and influences how I approach health, decision-making, and every other aspect of life.
I see a great need for Truth Over Trend in a world filled with experts, influencers, competing opinions, and ego. It’s a reminder to seek truth, practice discernment, and resist simply following what is popular, persuasive, or presented as the answer.
The Story Behind the Name
Truth Over Trend was born out of frustration, determination, and a desire to help people discern truth.
Years of working in healthcare, studying health, coaching others, and navigating my own health journey showed me how easily people can become caught in the search for the next answer. I watched people spend significant time, money, and hope on programs and protocols that were presented as individualized but often became one-size-fits-all. Some improved, some plateaued, and some worsened. I experienced this myself.
Eventually, I realized this wasn’t just happening in health. I began seeing the same patterns in coaching, business, media, politics, systems, communities, and everyday life. Everywhere I looked, people were searching for certainty in human ideas, philosophies, personalities, and trends while overlooking the One from whom truth originates.
That realization changed everything.
Truth Over Trend was born from that conviction. While the principles behind it extend far beyond health, health is where many people begin, and it is the primary way Truth Over Trend serves.
When your body isn’t functioning the way it should, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by conflicting opinions, one-size-fits-all advice, and the constant promise that the next trend will finally be the answer. I’ve been there myself, and I’ve walked alongside many women who have too.
My passion is helping women step out of that cycle by learning to understand what their body is communicating, identify their unique physiology, ask better questions, and make informed decisions based on their body’s feedback rather than chasing one-size-fits-all trends.
Truth is the Living Word of God.
Truth Over Trend is built on the belief that God designed each person uniquely. While truth itself does not change, how our bodies function and communicate can vary from person to person. Our foundation includes learning your unique physiology, observing the feedback your body provides, and making informed decisions based on those observations rather than chasing one-size-fits-all trends. Through this process, our goal is to help you develop greater discernment and body awareness so you can steward your health with wisdom, clarity, and confidence.
Equipping women to steward their health
Truth Over Trend exists to equip adult women to steward their health and life with clarity, confidence, and purpose. We do this by helping them understand what their body is communicating, discern the factors influencing their well-being, and make informed decisions rooted in truth rather than trends.
Think critically, pursue truth with humility
We envision a world where people think critically, pursue truth with humility, and make wise, discerning decisions rather than being driven by trends, manipulation, or fear. Health is the starting point, but the principles they learn extend into every area of life. Our vision is to equip people to pursue God’s truth through Christ, steward every area of their lives with wisdom, and become steadfast men and women who cannot be easily deceived or swayed by the changing trends of the world.
You will be treated as a whole person
At Truth Over Trend, you will be treated with honesty, integrity, kindness, and compassion. When we work together, you will have my full attention, and your individual needs, experiences, and goals will be a priority. You will be treated as a whole person, not a protocol, diagnosis, symptom, or result.
What we hold to
Truth
Truth is our foundation. We seek truth that is grounded in reality, tested with humility, and aligned with God’s design. Truth requires discernment. Rather than accepting assumptions or following trends, we ask thoughtful questions, observe patterns, seek understanding, and make informed decisions. Truth is not determined by popularity, marketing, opinions, or fear.
Integrity
Integrity means our words, actions, and character remain consistent. We communicate honestly. We avoid exaggeration. We do not promise outcomes we cannot guarantee. We are committed to teaching what we genuinely believe and continually striving to live it ourselves.
Stewardship
Health is stewardship. The body, mind, and heart are gifts entrusted to us. Our goal is not perfection. Our goal is faithful stewardship through wise, informed decisions made over time.
Humility
Humility keeps us teachable. We remain curious. We welcome new evidence. We recognize that no coach, practitioner, or research study has every answer. Humility allows truth to remain greater than ego.
Ownership
Growth requires participation. While we cannot control everything that happens to us, we can take ownership of the choices we make moving forward. We encourage responsibility without shame. Ownership empowers people to participate in their own growth rather than waiting for someone else to fix them.
